On Your Own

The Museum of Alabama is designed to be self-guided. The museum has four main galleries and several temporary exhibit spaces throughout the Archives building. We encourage you to explore the museum at your own pace. Some visitors stroll through the exhibits in an hour, and others will spend much of a day immersed in artifacts, images, and audio-visual programs.

Be sure to leave time for a visit to the Museum Store before you leave!
