Talladega County
Alabama's Talladega Superspeedway opened in 1969 and quickly became a leading track for NASCAR racing.
A frequent sight at the Speedway was the number 12 car of Bobby Allison, one of the "Alabama Gang" drivers.
The Speedway is also home to the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum.
